National inquiry into community mental health services for adults

There's currently a national inquiry into adult community mental health services. Find out how you can have your say to improve care.

The inquiry wants to find out how to make improvements, particularly for people living with severe mental health needs including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and severe depression.

It will look at things like access and waiting times, people’s wider needs such as housing and employment, person centred care and how different services work together.

Full details of the Health and Social Care Committee inquiry can be found at https://committees.parliament.uk/call-for-evidence/3520/

How can you have your say?

  1. You can share your experiences directly with the inquiry here by Tuesday 4th February
  2. Or, you can share them with us by Friday 31st January - we will look at people’s experiences all together and come up with themes. These will be shared with the inquiry as well as decision makers working to improve people’s care and support in Sheffield. We won't share your name or contact details, so you can share your views anonymously.
