#SpeakUp 2021 - Pitsmoor Adventure Playground
Pitsmoor Adventure Playground offers play opportunities to support children and young people to improve their health and wellbeing, to learn new life skills and to become active citizens.
Our #SpeakUp small grants scheme awards funding to local community, voluntary, or not-for-profit groups, enabling them to engage with their communities about what matters to them.
How much do children know about staying healthy and active?
Play workers at Pitsmoor Adventure Playground spoke to around 20 children, exploring their knowledge about:
- Looking after their senses - awareness of hearing and eyesight
- Eating healthily
- Looking after their teeth
- Being happy and staying active
