Sheffield Health and Wellbeing Board
This is a partnership between Sheffield City Council, the NHS and a range of partners in the city that aims to deliver a single approach to improving the health and wellbeing of Sheffield residents. Visit website
Healthier Communities and Adult Social Care Scrutiny and Policy Development Committee
The central purpose of scrutiny is to hold decision makers to account, examine services provided by the Council and its partners, as well as to carry out in-depth reviews into specific service areas. Visit website
NHS Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG)
The CCG is responsible for planning and buying (commissioning) many of Sheffield’s healthcare services. This includes hospital care as well as services within a community setting. Visit website
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
The Trust is one of the UK’s largest, providing a range of hospital and community services for people in Sheffield, as well as specialist care for patients from further afield. Visit website
Sheffield Health and Social Care Foundation Trust
The Trust provides a range of specialist health and social care services to improve mental, physical and social wellbeing. Visit website
Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust
The Trust is one of four dedicated children’s hospital trusts in the UK and provides integrated healthcare for children and young people, including community and mental health care as well as acute and specialist services. Visit website
Sheffield City Council
The Council provides a range of Social Care services for all residents and provides help for people with disabilities and who need support to maintain mental health. The Public Health department promotes and protects the health of people and the communities. Visit website
Sheffield Health and Care Partnership (HCP)
Formally known as Sheffield Accountable Care Partnership (ACP), the HCP is an alliance of health and social care organisations that work together to deliver care. They bring partners together to focus on issues that need to be addressed jointly, to bring about major changes in the way services are planned and delivered. Visit website.
Equality Hub Network
A voice and influence network for under-represented communities in Sheffield. The Hubs are based on the protected characteristics identified under the Equality Act 2010. Visit website
Healthwatch England
The independent national champion for people who use health and social care services. Supports local Healthwatch to find out what people want and to advocate for services that meet local communities’ needs. Visit website
NHS England
NHS England leads the NHS in England by setting priorities and sharing out more than £100 billion in funds. It holds organisations to account for spending this money effectively and efficiently. Visit website
