Health & Care Public Forum (Sheffield) meeting

The Health and Care Public Forum is one of the ways we connect people with professionals working to change health and care services for the better.

The Forum is a group of members of the public, patients and carers who use NHS and/or social care services in Sheffield.

The group meets monthly on Zoom (online), to share their views on work taking place to improve health and social care, so they can influence it in some way.

We are looking for members of the public to come to our next meeting.

You don’t have to come to all of our meetings - you can join us on a one-off basis if a topic interests you.

Our next meeting

Tuesday 13th February 2023, 1.00-2.30pm

• Laura Fish and Rachel Morris (Sustainable Travel Manager and Head of Sustainability at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals) will be joining us to talk about patient and public transport - including the H1 bus service tender
• Ben Loryman (an Emergency Department Consultant at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals) will be joining us to talk about patients who attend the emergency department late at night, being invited to the Minor Injuries Unit the next morning instead
