About this event
The Health and Care Public Forum is one of the ways we connect people with professionals working to change health and care services for the better.
The Forum is a group of members of the public, patients and carers who use NHS and/or social care services in Sheffield.
The group meets monthly on Zoom (online), to share their views on work taking place to improve health and social care, so they can influence it in some way.
We are looking for members of the public to come to our next meeting.
You don’t have to come to all of our meetings - you can join us on a one-off basis if a topic interests you.
Our next meeting
11th October 2022, 1pm-2.30pm
We will be hearing from NHS professionals working on the Sheffield Ageing Well Programme, which aims to help people to age better.
We will discuss:
- What would help you age well?
- What makes a good care home?
- What would matter to you if you became unwell with an sudden short term illness and couldn’t do your normal daily activities?
- What would help you to stay independent if living with long term conditions such as frailty, which impact on your quality of life?
