The Health & Care Public Forum is the new name of the IAC Forum (find out more) - a group of regular volunteers who talk about upcoming changes in health and social care, and share their views to influence decision-makers.
You don't have to be a regular member to join in. Each month the group is keen to hear from people interested in the specific topics for that meeting. This month we'll be focusing on the following item:
Compassionate Sheffield
Nick Deayton (Compassionate Sheffield Programme Manager) will be joining us to talk about a programme of work which aims to make Sheffield a more compassionate city and for this to help improve people’s lives and experiences of death.
During the session we will:
- Explore the notion of ‘compassion’.
- Share thoughts / experiences / reflections about death, dying and bereavement.
- Share reflections on the ‘Compassionate Companion’ role. Which is really early on its design here in Sheffield.
- Learn how to reach out and stay connected with Compassionate Sheffield if the topic interests you.
