Healthwatch Sheffield Annual Report 2016-17
This is the Healthwatch Sheffield Annual Report 2016-17, it shows our recent developments and current projects.
This has been another busy year at Healthwatch Sheffield. Our Annual Report provides an opportunity to look back at the work we've done and how we've helped your voice have an impact.
Our highlights:
- Gathering feedback We established our website with its online rate and review function. In one year, we gathered more than 1100 pieces of feedback on local services.
- Meeting people We have met and talked with more than 3,800 local people at community events, meetings and festivals across the city.
- Publishing reports Our reports have tackled issues ranging from care at home to access to dental services for people with a disability.
- Researching issues We gathered detailed views from 434 people when looking at care provided before, during and after a mental health crisis.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our volunteers, including our Advisory Board, Enter & View representatives, ambassadors, and everyone else who gets stuck in and helps make our work possible.
We'd also like to thank our colleagues in statutory and voluntary organisations for helping us to reach out to more people than ever and make sure public voice is at the centre of decision making.
