Tinsley project: Tell us what you think about health and social care
This year we are doing a project to find out about experiences of the NHS, social care and wellbeing support from people living in particular areas of Sheffield.
Why are we focusing on Tinsley?
We have decided to focus on Tinsley first - this is because people from Tinsley asked us to look at their area, and because we know from our existing data that there might be some specific issues for people living there.
For example, people have told us about the geographical isolation from other parts of Sheffield, difficulties accessing local services including health services and voluntary sector organisations, and obstacles like language barriers and cost.
We would like to speak to people who live in Tinsley, as well as relatives and carers of people who live in Tinsley if you help them to access care and support. We want to understand what is working well for people, what isn't working well, and what changes could be made to make things better.
What does taking part involve?
We would like to arrange a chat with you, which would last for around 30-60 minutes at a place of your choosing or over the phone.
What you say will be anonymous, and you can bring a relative or friend with you if you would like. To say thank you for your time, we will give you a £10 voucher.
We hope our work will shine a light on what people need to have better experiences and better health, and this will be listened to by the people who fund and run the services they use.
I'd like to take part
Please get in touch - we would love to hear from you:
- To arrange a chat about your care and support, or the care and support of someone you help to look after
- If you work with people in Tinsley and would like to connect us with the people you support
- If you would like more information about this project
