Chair needed for new Strategic Advisory Group

Our Chair will be passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of all Sheffield’s citizens and act as a positive ambassador for Healthwatch Sheffield, representing its interests with partners and members of the public.

We welcome interest from people from a broad range of backgrounds; with leadership experience, strong people skills, able to work with others to set strategic direction and experienced at chairing effective meetings.

We especially encourage applications from people who identify with or have worked with communities whose voices are not always heard – for example, Black Asian and minority ethnic communities, young people, LGBTQ and disabled people.

Having knowledge and/or experience of health and/or social care as a service user or carer is particularly valuable to the role.

Time and commitment required to carry out the responsibilities of the role is around 4-8 days per month.

Recruitment of members of the Strategic Advisory Group will take place in early May.
